HI SAP guru's -
Issue:-
I am trying to Enter into the Notification through IW21 - Then straight away i get this Error message pop up " Origin Indicator not maintained for notification type", - Message Number observed as IM422.
Analysis:-
When i try to enter into Notification from iw22,iw23, iw29, iw32,ZPMKIOSK - the Same error is observed.
I hope some background logic is missing.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Vishal Singh
GO to SPRO --> QM --> Quality Notification --> Notification creation --> Define Notification Types --> Select your notification type and go to in deatils mode.
Here you will see "Notification origin" against QN type. Might you are missing this information in your case.

Observed the Quality Notifications - settings where QN Notification type does not exist.

Maintain notification relation with origin at given path, it will resolve prob for this user as well.
First try in test system if works then apply to live system.
The Problem has got the resolution & it was observed that in the workorder - there were default settings maintained by the user.
Path is :-
iw32 Change workorder - go to extras tab - click on defaults - check for it.
Where it's observed that the default order Type & Notification type is provided, for this When we enter into an notification - The error " Origin indicator not maintained for notification type is displayed.
For the User:-
Asked him to remove the entries & save it.
Later appeared is that - Origin indicator for notification type is not maintained error is not replicated & it was able to work in notfication through IW21
