Inspection lot is not showing in QA32

Hello all,

I have the following questions.

1. For an inspection lot generated via 109 movement, the status is CRTD PSAG SPRQ. . Why does this inspection lot not have status "released". I know that if i go to the inspection lot nd assign the task list it will become released. But why shuould this be done manually. How to make that REL state at once it is created.

2.ANd this particular inspection lot is not shown in QA32 ,but showing in QA03.

Can anybody help this.

You can try checking the validity dates in QA32

At transaction QA02 you can know which task list is needed to release the inspection lot.

QA02 > move 'insp.specification' tab > check material, plant, key date, usage in specification selection >

go to transaction QP02 > input material, plant, key date then enter > check that valid inspection plan with same usage code is exist or not

> if no plan, you have to create a plan with previous date as key date. if more than one, you have to delete other and keep one plan only

> go to QA02 again > click 'task list' button in specification tab then click 'sample' button in sample tab > save

2.ANd this particular inspection lot is not shown in QA32 ,but showing in QA03.

Check the selection profile at transaction QA32.

You can control to display the inspection lot or not based on system status using selection profile.

Reason of insp lot status is inspection plan (task list) is not assigned to lot yet. Once you go to QA02 and assign task list manually and as well do sampling then system chage lot status to REL.

If you want system to auto assign then create inspection plan before system create inspection lot & in the QM view of material master go to relavent insp type and clcik on "automatic assignment" checkbox. So system will assign plan to lot auto.

This depends on filter criteria of QA32. Check lot creation date, lot origin, material, list settings radio button. Once you enter proper input criteria you would be able to get lot in QA32 list.

Hi,

For any inspection lot , you need to have Inspection plan (Master data) in place before it got created.

So if properly created task list is present in the system means system will in REL status when it is created.

Also make sure if your inspection plan is in place proper task list usage has been assigned in the Qp01 header.

Also Pl cross check for Movement type 109. This movement is not suitable for creation of lots.

What is the Inspection type you are using?

Check for any filters used in your QA 32 work list?

The task list and stuff are proper only.

Can you please tell me what are the reasons that will make the lot to be in CRTD status itself.

one more information:

Only for the lot that is in CRTD status,the dynamic modification rule is not shown in QA02,for the others it is showing.

WIll this be a reason Or this is not showing because the plan is not yet assigned to the lot?

Yes, Sampling size calculations does affect the status.

This could be one of the reason. I forgot to mention in the previous reply. I.e why the stattus is CRTD PSAG SPRQ

Hi,

Reasons may be:

Check the status of the task list it should be released.

Check the usage of the task list & it should match with usage in QA02

Validity date of inspection plan should be covering the inspection lot creation date

Check the status of the inspection plan it should also be released.

i think, its problem with sample calculation only.

are you using an inspection point?

Check all MICs Control indicator for Sampling procedure. Maintain it for all MICs in inspection plan and assign right sampling procedure for those all MICs.

next time, your insp. lot will be in REL.

hi,

ma dear frnd,

when u assigned a DMR with set of rules, u need to define sampling procedure and samplin schemes, when lot is there in QC, than The system status will be CRTD CHCR, when u select the lot and execute QA02 than system auto pick ur task list but u need to Click on Sample Calculation Button in Sample Tab in QA02.

If u r not click on that than status remains CRTD CHCR, ur task list is assigned but ur sample is not assigned.

Please check the same on DEV. ur doubt will cleared for sure.

One more check you can do is in the Inspection Plan header level is Qty.

i.e From Lot size --- To Lot size.

If the Qty for which GR has happened is out side the limit of the qty mentioned then also sample size will not get calculated.

Many times From lot size is mentioned as 1 to 9999999 Kg ( For eg)

If qty received is less than 1Kg, may be some thing like 0.500 Kg. Sample size will not get calculated in such cases and hence status CRTD PSAG SPRQ.

Change From lot size to 0 and manually release the lot using QA02 from next time onwards lot will be automatically in REL status.

Pls understand my question.. I have mentioned that I know how the procedure to make the status as released.

My question is when there are other lots which are perfect why is this lot only not assigned to the task list and the sample size is zero.
