SAP EWM MFS - Communication Channel status was not updated to 'B'(Sync completed sucessfully)

Hi Experts,

We build the connection of SAP EWM MFS -> PCo -> PLC emulator. And create the relevant communication channel, and the chancel could be started and send telegram to PLC and also got the acknowledgement telegram from PLC successfully..

But the question is ： the status of communication channel was 'A' (Synchronization in progress) once the chancel started, but will not be updated to 'B' ( 'Synchronizaiton completed successfully')as what I expected.

Does someone has the similar experience about this ?and if my understanding is not correct or not ?

Can you please brief me about the necessity of plc simulator ?

Do we only need this in dev and qa environments? Do we also need in prod ?

Do you have any document for how to set up plc simulator with pco and ewm ?

Can you share the plc simulator tool as wel?

Hi Jobi,

I tried to restart the chancel ,I didn't work. Finally, after I went through some documents, I found the status will be updated to 'B' when send telegram from PLC emulator with 'SYEN'. so I thinking my previous understanding is not correct. The status should be updated to 'B' when it got the telegram 'SYEN' which informs the EWM MFS to end the synchronization .

Can you stop and restart the channel?
