    Hi,

Equipment status gets updated in table JEST against object number for equipment.

So say if equip no is XXXXXX then its object number in JEST will be IEXXXXXX.

In Jest against this object number status I0076 will have blank value for field "status inact".This means equip is flagged for del. and this will get updated with next change number counter.

When equipment is active then I0076 will have value of X for field "status inact".

    regds,

I think trace ST05 t-code will help you, in general to trace. Take Abaper's help.
