Cannot enable Change Document flag on Data Element

Hello!

I can't activate the Change Document flag/checkbox for some fields, specifically this one in the JEST table.

I need to receive Equipment status changes (table EQUI) in CDHDR and CDPOS, but when I change them, nothing happens. I went to SCDO and added the JEST table to the EQUI change document, but I still can't get the logs. My attempt now is to add the change document to the field I need, but it's inactive.

I also need to see in Change Document tables the WorkOrder status, but it seems that the change logs wont work for object status change.

It also happens with the ILOM_STTXS data element. Why i cannot enable this?

Then I will suggest you check your screen layout from Configuration if those are editable fields or just Display.

Hi,

My understanding is that the Document Change Management is not activated in your system. It is totally a different Module in SAP. May be someone else can explain in more details.

This is really confuse cause it only happens with certain fields. In others fields like equipment description, i have it checked and works fine.
