SAP Single Sign On - TOTP scenario with AS ABAP

Hello everyone,

we are very close to completing a task at a customer, where we would like to enable two-factor authentication on an AS ABAP server using SAP Secure Login Client. As a first factor we defined multiple different options like normal user/password login, ABAP login, LDAP login and what not, with different success. As you are all aware the Secure Login Client communicates with the Secure Login Server, from where it retrieves its profiles. The profile is set and working and when we try to login to the SNC ABAP connection, the correct SAP Secure Login Client comes up asking for user/pass. once we provide that, the code for the OTP comes up, which is great. We activated the OTP on a mobile phone and we enter the passcode, which is also correct, but then we get a message from the ABAP server - no matching user name found (or similar, I can get the exact exception if that would help).

Any ideas?

Hi Geferson,

good news. The problem was related really to the version of Secure Login Server component. We updated it to SP07, since SP08 was not available yet and it worked like a charm. You get the credit.
