SAP Analytics Cloud - Sections and Batch Export features worksournd in Optimised View mode

Hi all.

Background:
We have an SAC Story built in the old Classic mode, that displays the movements for Materials (amongst other data) which is listed in a formatted table.

The report uses the Sections feature in SAC in order to split the data by Material/ Product per page.

Problem:
In many cases there are numerous rows created for a Material. Normally it would be possible to enable the "Auto-Size and Page Table Vertically" feature which will allow it to run over to multiple pages. The problem is that the Auto-Size feature is not available if the table is placed inside a Section widget. As a result we cant print the report out into a PDF as it crops the report.

A work around to this, was to use the "Batch Export" option when Exporting the report. We are able to select the Material Dimension as a filter, it will then generate an exported PDF file by Material showing all the movement transactions. The problem is that its not intuitive to the user, extremely slow and often times out, and its not possible to schedule it this way.

I see that both the Section and Batch Export features are not (will not) be supported in the new SAC Optimised View mode. I've explored all the features and cant seem to find any solution to this problem.

Question:
Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a work around or can offer some advice?
