SAP Signavio Benchmarking Analytics

With the November 2023 release, we are introducing SAP Signavio Benchmarking Analytics, a new extension of the Process Discovery report. These new capabilities will help you answer business performance questions such as those mentioned above. You will be able to compare your organization’s performance with companies like yours within seconds, based on an unparalleled source of industry data. Benchmarking will help your business to easily identify improvement areas, build a business case for transformation, set attainable goals, and monitor improvement. *A first limited pre-release of these new benchmarking capabilities is being rolled out to users of the report.

SAP Signavio Process Insights delivers new updates designed to give you a more holistic overview of business performance as well as faster time to analysis and increased collaboration.
Public analytical APIs
Being able to continuously share insights and metrics with relevant stakeholders in a fast way is increasingly becoming important. To this end, we are pleased to introduce Public analytical APIs with this release as they give you the opportunity to connect SAP Signavio Process Insights to the analytical solution of choice. Data in SAP Signavio Process Insights can be integrated with data sources beyond process performance to provide a more holistic picture of the business’ performance. This update is also aimed at facilitating and increasing collaboration.
Redesign of UI
As part of the incremental updates to the SAP Signavio Process Transformation suite UI, we are pleased to announce the redesign of SAP Signavio Process Insights’ UI. The new design is aimed at improving the usability of SAP Signavio Process Signavio Process Insights, as well as provide a seamless user experience across the whole suite, once all the design updates are concluded. In the interim period, while users get used to the new design there will be a toggle bar that at the top that lets them switch between the 2 designs as they get used to the new design.
Please note that this update will not be in the current Process Discovery. It will be in the next update in January 2024.

The November 2023 release of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence brings several enhancements and product updates. This update provides a better user experience, lowering entry barriers especially for inexperienced users and making the solution even more intuitive than today. We offer this as an opt-in functionality, allowing you to switch seamlessly between the legacy design and the updated design, thus helping you to adapt at your own pace.

Improved business process mapping section incl. auto-map functionality:
With this update we enhance the current business process mapping section by improving BPMN diagrams and their event mapping. The newly introduced auto-mapping functionality enables users to automatically link system events with business process activities. Automated mapping can be triggered by the push of a button and is based on the naming of the events and activities. The new auto-mapping functionality speeds up time-to-value, especially for discovery and conformance scenarios. It also incentivizes users to (re-) use existing templates even more when process models and transformation data templates naming specifications match.
The improved business process mapping section has a more intuitive and granular view of what events are mapped to which business process activity. This further improves the usability as users now see at a glance what event is mapped to which activity. It also reduces click-time and potential additional undo/redo actions thus improving overall time-to-value.

Business process model connector for optimized connectivity and synchronization
Available with this release in SAP Signavio Process Manager is an enhanced version the business process model connector for SAP Signavio solutions. The connector now offers optimized connectivity, synchronization, and error messages, ensuring enhanced usability and reliability.
Users can now receive improved error messages with more technical details about the error and new warning messages if any business process modeling notation (BPMN) models were ignored during synchronization. Importantly, the November release also comes with new dashboards delivery capabilities. Building dashboards from scratch for process mining analysis can be time consuming and can take a lot of effort. By logging into the SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub, SAP Signavio Process Intelligence users can browse and install ready-to-use dashboards and related metrics, reducing time to insight and the internal effort of their development teams. Pre-built dashboard templates with related metrics focus on specific use cases and build upon process best practices, providing support to your specific process mining needs. This is a limited release focused on dashboards. The full scope release with more accelerators and functionality for all licenses is planned to come in 2024.

New algorithm to generate business process models from mined data
The process mining engine's ability to analyze process variants from system data is crucial, especially for exploration use-cases. By employing a data-driven approach, process owners can gain valuable insights into the actual execution of the process. SAP Signavio Process Intelligence has always been focused on combining aspects of data and business processes in the best possible manner. With this update, automatically generated business process models (via “Generate BPMN” variant widget feature) become more accurately depicted and are modeled in a more natural, easy to understand form. This update paves the ground for improved collaboration across departments, especially shared IT and business domains.

SAP Signavio Process Intelligence: New dashboards delivery capabilities
Importantly, the November release also comes with new dashboards delivery capabilities. Building dashboards from scratch for process mining analysis can be time consuming and can take a lot of effort. By logging into the SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub, SAP Signavio Process Intelligence users can browse and install ready-to-use dashboards and related metrics, reducing time to insight and the internal effort of their development teams. Pre-built dashboard templates with related metrics focus on specific use cases and build upon process best practices, providing support to your specific process mining needs. This is a limited release focused on dashboards. The full scope release with more accelerators and functionality for all licenses is planned to come in 2024.
