To the SCM experts, i need to demo the above scenario to a client, kindly help with process by process steps of carrying out the make to order process using Sap Scm And sap Erp??
Hi Michael,
This is a very wide question which could have various dimensions to consider. This means what solutions you are going to use? Are you considering GATP, CTP, MATP or not? Which kind of solution are thinking for run example CTM or PPDS run and why?
But on high level this is how it should be (considering ERP & CTM for an example without GATP etc.):
To achieve this all you need to do right configurations etc. For the same check below link.

Thank You so much Rahul for your reply.
I want to carry out the MTO scenario using PPDS in order to optimize and plan the resource schedule and the order dates/times in detail. if you have any documentation of step by step process of these scenario or any link i would really appreciate since i have access to SAP SCM IDES AND ERP IDES which have data already created.
Hi Michael,
As already discussed by Rahul and vinodh the possible masters to be maintained .
You can also emphasize on the TOR ( Transfer of Requirement ) that is how in specific your order created in the OLTP ( Online Transactions Processing ) systems transfers the requirements to the SCM system.
Of different ATP functionalities that are mentioned prioritize how does your business work and how should your receipt elements should be mapped .
At last when you are considering the MTO scenario the shelf life is also important and all the floats that are taking place before and after should be noted.
Hope this points will help you
.
