Changes to a planning book vs. planning area re-initialization

Dear experts

If you change a APO DP planning book as follows:

- Add two key figures into the planning book (both key figures exist already in the planning area)

- Create one new macro in the same planning book

Would a transport from TEST to PROD such a change require a re-initialization of the planning area and a new activation? I hope not (it is only a view, not the planning area itself).

P.S.: This is a SCM 4.0 system.

Thanks for your feedback,

Eivind

Yes you are correct. Transporting Planning books do not require re-initialization of planning area. you can transport the planning books using /SAPAPO/TSOBJ transaction
