Assignment of Work order operation to PERNR based on skills in SAP PM

Hi Experts,

Is there an option in SAP PM to assign the work order operations automatically based on employee's skills. Say in Order #123, there are 2 operations. Operation 0010 , need to have a "Electrician" and operation 0020 need a "Plumber". Can we do auto assignment of operations , so that once dispatch, the operation must be assigned to rightly skilled person (PERNR) ? I tried by mapping it via requirement profile and created the skills in HR for employee mapped to work center. But I'm unable to see any option for auto / manual assignment based on the correct match, so these are two standalone data (requirement profile and Skills assigned to PERNR). I understand , MRS has this capability but my client don't have MRS.

I tried with fiori app "Assign maintenance order opration", but there also i need to select opration manually and assign to the PERNR. There is no matching of skills and I can assign opration to any PERNR. I'm looking an option for matching the skills before assignment.

Can someone please explain if any similar fucntionality is available (or can be achieved by some workaround) in S4HANA latest version. Quick reply would be appreciated.

There is a workaround. Go for a one to one relationship between Main Work Center and PERNR. Then there will be no confusion which PERNR to be assigned to operation. Whatever work center is assigned to the operation is the right one. Also you can assign operations to the technicians thru main work center.

For ex:

Operation | Work Center | Description

0010 | ELEC001 | Replace motor

0020 | PUMB001 | Repair pipeline

Now do not assign the PERNR in order operation. Ask the Electrician to identify the assigned work using work center ELEC001 and same applies to Plumber. Since every PERNR will have a specific Work center there will be no confusion.

While doing the time confirmation the only relevant PERNR will appear in drop down.
