SD-SAP Certification

Dear All,

one of my friend wants to do Certification in SAP-SD

he has experience of 2 yrs as key user and 1 yr as a Consultant

now he want to be certified consultant so what is the procedure.

Hi RP,

To get certification, I dont think work experience is required.

Many of them are joining directly in siemens, after certification they tried for entry in SAP world and they got it too.

Certificatin is an added advantage only but not mandatory in INDIA.( in my view).

go thruough with the Siemens softcopy for each paper , dont practise it .

practising will create so many doubts n time consume.

Just understand the process and logic,

how the data flows, from where the data comes, where it affects , why itz required,

eg: in CMR, v have 2 payment terms,

one in - Company code data,

another- Sales area data.

why both r required?where it affects,

sales area data is copied into sales order n flows upto billing,

after releasing it to accounting, as part of clearing the Open item, user has the option to change the payment terms according to the customer req, as per process's conditions.

Company code data-payment term used in accounting purpose in FI,

read each and every line in siemens softcopy and william also*,

thats fine dear

but there is any provision that i can directly give examination without joing the course.

Hi,

That is very difficult though.Because genovate don't want to lose the money which they charge

Another option is if your company is sponsoring you to do the certification,yes it can be done without attending the 25 days course.But in that case you need to show them experience letter from the company.
