Hi SAP Community, hoping you all can help me with an issue I'm running into with PA20 / PA30 headers. We have a request from our HR dept. to limit 2 groups of users based on Personnel Area.
User 1 will only have access to Personnel Area 0001. User 2 will only have access to Personnel Area 0002.
So we set up our roles based on the Personnel Area as requested and found it works for the most part...
If an employee is in PA 0001, user 1 can see the master data as expected and user 2 can not, also as expected. The same is true for the reverse scenario.
The issue is, if we have an employee who has transferred from one PA to the other, the header is no longer displayed.
For example, if Danny was hired in Personnel Area 0001 and then transferred to PA 0002. User 1 should still be able to view Danny's master data of when he was in PA 0001. But when user 1 pulls up the record, the header is blank other than the SAP #. The infotypes are visible if you select and view them but its just the header in PA 20 or PA30 that does not display any data.
I've worked with my Basis team and they believe it might be a config issue. I took a look at the Screen Header step in the IMG but have had no luck in trying different combinations.
Could you please let me know if any of you have run into this and how you all resolved it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
