KDAUF (sales order) field in table LIPS type fltp not allowed for screen element

Dear All;

I am generating a report that takes data from LIPS, and VBAP tables.

when i go to se16 to check the database content for the field KDAUF i get the following message: ABAP Dictionary type fltp is not allowed for screen element.

Do you know how can i include the content of this field in my report

Is it not allowing to proceed further after that? It is only an information message.

It gives this message, and let me proceede, but when i click on se16 and search for the field KDAUF i can not find it as a column in the table in SE16 view.

Hi,

try to use lips~vgbel instead of kdauf for sales order field in your report.

I changesd the field KDAUF with VGBEL and now i can see the three columsn as you can see in the image:

but the funtional consultant who asked to create this report wants to see the KDAUF field (Sales Order). what should tell him?

Did you check whether the field KDAUF is populated in the table.

The information message in your first post is due to LIPS field UMREF (and others with FLTP = floating point format), it has nothing to do with KDAUF. Also I don't understand the relation between SE16 for LIPS and the output you are showing further down.

Please explain what you are up to.
