ICMR: Automation in the notifications

Hi everyone,

In ICMR there is the possibility to communicate any discrepancies to other users and send emails or notifications.

Following to the above functionality, is it possible to automate the notifications in case of any mismatches or differences?

Hi lefteris_p, yes, adding (public) notes, sending fiori launchpad notifications and sending emails (to configured recipients using pre-defined email templates) are manual actions triggered from Manage Assignments. See also Manage Assignments.

If an approval workflow is set up, when variance adjustment or reconciliation close request is initiated, approvers will receive an approval tasks in their Inbox app. The workflow can be configured with more start conditions. See Workflow for Intercompany Variance Adjustment and Workflow for Reconciliation Close Approval.

Hi Lefteris,

Yes the functionality you are looking for is directly in ICMR. :But it's not automated.

You go into Manage Assignments and in the bottom right you select the check box on one of the Unassgined Rows and then select the Show Items Button.

This will open a window on the right hand side with the out of balance transactions. Elect the chick box for all line items and then hit the communicate button and select Send Notification or Send E-mail.

It lets you copy the screen directly with active links into the e-mail or notification screen but you have to direct where the e-mail is going so people can correct the out of balance issues directly in the related companies.

this demos well but it's not automated. Hope this helps.
