Holiday calender setting so that we can't have a schedule line on 1st of ev

Dear All,

We want tohave 1st of every month set in the holiday calender such that no schedule line can get confirmed for the 1st of every month even if material is available for shipping.

Any idea how to do it?

Hi,

You have to set the holiday calender through SCAL. First maintain it as a public holiday and declare it as a fixed holiday.

The setting is applied at client level for the country.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

First of allwill it not be a factory calender which I will need to set 1st as holiday and then asign to plant. (Factory calender rather than holiday calender)

Secondly whatwe need is that it should not allow schedule lines on this date but should allow other transactions like Billing, etc.

Hello,

Define the FACTORY CALENDAR in the transaction code OVR3 .

There you have a option to enter the workdays for each year and for each moth in the special function.

Define the working days for all the days except the first day and assign this in the Plant.

Then system wont confirm the Qantity on the first day of every month
