SAP CAR and SLT

Hi Gurus,

I have a questions about SAP CAR solution. Currently we have SAP ECC - IS Retail and SAP POSDM on BI in landscape.

ECC <-----> POSDM(on BI) <----->PI ---- 3rd Pary POS system.

As per our business scenario we have daily once processed Idocs send to ECC over RFC. And master data replicate from ECC to POSDM on demand based using RSA1 trigger at POSDM

Now we want to migrate ECC to S4Hana Retail and POSDM to SAP CAR. For this case is is mandatory to have SLT between S4 and CAR ? If yes then SLT is bundled license with CAR ?

Kindly help me to understand the proposed landscape. Please note that currently we don't have CRM and BI/BW and we don't have plan for it also.

Hi

Yes, S4HANA tables has to be SLT to CAR for master data check and audit. My understanding is SLT is bundled with CAR.
