Mismatch between campaign report and segmentation

Hi Experts, we are running a periodic campaign in SAP Marketing. We see in the report of the campaign 1560 emails have been delivered(Attach an screenshot). On the other hand I checked in the segmentation filtering by campaign id and Interaction type = 'EMAIL_OUTBOUND' but shows 1046 persons (attach an screenshot)

Could you help me understand why this is happening?¿is there any time delay between show the data in both applications?

Hi Kevin,

could you do the same segmentaion based on the "All Interactions" Profile and check whether the numbers correspond to each other?

Because in the campaign you could see the emails (which are interactions) but your segmentation is done based on consumers.

Hi Kevin,

As Tobias mentioned , the count in your segmentation corresponds to the number of consumers and not the number of Email Out bound's , to get the right number of EMAIL OUTBOUND's count , segmentation has to be based on Interaction Segmentation Profile level.

Saravana.

Hi Kevin,

looking at your screenshots, the situation is the following.

  • 1046 contacts have some interaction which is related to your Campaign 817
  • Out of these 1046 contacts, 1042 contacts have at least one Email-Outbound from campaign 817.

Is your campaign 817 a recurring campaign, or does it involve multiple steps (e.g. reminder email)? This would explain why some contacts seem to have received more than one email from this campaign.

Best regards,

Johannes
