Authorization on Campaign Status

Hi All,

I have crated a campaign with different status ( Created, Canceled, On Hold, Send for Approval, Resend for Approval, Approved, Execute, Closed) and i want to give authorizations to users on basis of status for eg Creation can be done by all the Mktg executives but Approved status has to be changed by the manager and further status should be available to manager only.

I have defined the Campaign Status and Authorization Group. what else has to be configured?

Please tell me  what are the configurations to be done for giving authorization.

Hello, Arun.

Then you assign authorization group to some statuses in status profile. These statuses will be possible to set if the user has appropriate authorization (B_USERSTAT object). Give an authorization to some users and that is it.

BTW, in standard, system checks authorization group when you set a status with a status number. There is no check when you delete such status. For more info and possibke solution please take a look at Note 402602 - Status management: Deleting user status authorization
