Difference Between TD20 and TE30.

Hi Experts,

While I am running the TM00 and if I miss the clock entries sometimes the evaluation terminates at TD20 and sometimes it terminates at TE30, why is it like that.

02.04.2004 14:00:00 P20 Clock-out M

02.04.2004 14:45:00 P10 Clock-in M

02.04.2004 17:30:00 P20 Clock-out M

02.04.2004 17:35:00 P10 Clock-in M

02.04.2004 19:30:00 P20 Clock-out M

E.g. suppose I miss any one of the clock in entry the time evaluation terminates at TE30 and if I miss any one of the clock out entry (1st or 2nd) the time evaluation terminates at TD20 and if I miss the last (3rd) clock out entry the evaluation terminates at TE30.

Can anyone let me know why this happens.

It would be of great help if anyone explains me what PCR TD20 and TE30 exactly does, I have read the documentation of both PCRs many times but still I am not clear, also request you to explian me the difference between the two.

Not only P10, and P20 more Time event types are there use you will not get such kind of issues. i.e Break start, break end, Offsite work Start/ end and Information entries also...

1. I am maintaining each and every clock in and clock out entry for the employee for each day...

2. Its not necessary to use all event type, its enough to use only 2 time events P10 and P20.

If you can throw the light on my issue that would of great help.

Hi,

If understood clearly the above reply is on your issue only.

You can upload all entries but should be Each clock in mean not p10, should required out entry, so that cause SAP given remaining time event types. While Time evaluation Particular Pair is not fulfilled system shows Error message. Each pair if ther is no time entry you should delimit end time pair after "x" minutes/ hours through PCR.

Note: Intially you are maintaining inthis case manuaaly, incase from any interface maintain then much more issues will come. There M- means Manually.

In Time Evaluation system genarates Pair based on clockin/out entries if any of that missiedout taotal business will goes wrong. incase of OT/extra working time or any time based payments.
