ESS: Validations / Errors not displayed in country specific addresses app

Hi,

We have implemented addresses application for Middle East by reusing an exisiting adresses application.

We are having 2 problems.

1. Field validation messages / successful messages are not getting displayed.

2. The confirmation iView links are not working.

FYI the application is updating the data correctly and showing the correct Country (in our case AE).

Do the user has correct authorisation to se all the mesasages? Also which confirmation link is not wokring, You can take the trace and verify

1.Let me check by running trace.

Do we need to do any additional configuration while reusing application for non standard countries.

Just ran TRACE on the user and found that auth S_SERVICE is missing.

So I will try to patch the info to my auth team. Thanks for that.

yes assign the s_service and also let me know which confirmation link is not working usually we take a HTTP trace using HTTP professional.

I havent done any customizing for the links to work.

Since we are implementing ESS addresses for non standard country (AE) do we need to do touch any BAdI?

or

This will get resolved with proper authorization (S_SERVICE) ?

not badi, you need to use proper homepage customisation and point to correct url of pcd

The validation / success messages are getting displayed once the correct authorization is provided.

Also the the links on confirmation screen are working after that.
