exclude columns from time sheet

Hi,

I'm new to using SAP for time mngmnt.

My time sheet has many columns that I like to exclude some from the view, like FROM & TO time.

I can drag these out of the view, but when I logon again, they are there again.

I'm told there is a way to make the change permanent.

I've done save-template to remember lines for future, but the default view is not changed.

How do I do it?

Hi Rez,

There is the "Configuration" button in the upper right corner of both Worklist and Data EntryArea of CAT2.

Press configuration button -> Table settings popup will appear.

Press Administrator button -> Edit system settings popup will appear.

Select the invisible checkbox for the fields that you don't want to see.

Press Activate button.

Press Close button.

Write something to variant field (e.g. ZREZ) and press Create button (Make sure that "Use as standard setting" checkbox is selected) .

Last but not the least, make sure that "Profile Changable" checkbox is selected in the respective data entry profile (Check via SPRO - Cross-App components - Time Sheet - Spec settings for CATS regular - CATS regular - Rec working time- Set up data entry profiles)

Thanks for yur reply.

I didn't have ADMIN ...., so ended up:

move things off the table;

adding a new entry in the config & use it.

Then it was OK.
