Capacity report (/SAPAPO/CDPS_REPT)

Dear Experts,

In the reporting /SAPAPO/CDPS_REPT transaction, time in the past is considered as free time. So, for example, when we select

"Month" in period selection, the report gives wrong values from resource load perspective for current period.

Is there any setting to get correct value or other report to get correct value?

Dear,

In this report Evaluation start and end is the period considered for getting the data.

Inside in period selection is only for viewing the data monthly/quatorly/yearly.

Example - I gave evaluation start as 01.01.2010 to end 31.12.2010

Now If I give period as month, I will get 12 line in the o/p,

If I give Quater, then I will get 4 lines in O/p.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your comment. But the unclear point for me is that the time in the past is considered as free time. For example, when we select "Monthly" on September 20th, the time from Sep 1st to Sep 19th are considered as free time, so, the value of September is quite different from actual monthly value. In order to get correct value, the past date should be excluded or the past date should be considered by actual data. But as far as I know, the calculation logic is just past data is considered as free. I can not understand the concept and how we should utilize this value.

Hi Katsuya,

Check is there any undelivered or partially delivered orders exists

in your system. In such case also, generally the report will provide

those order values which may not be realistic.

Check the planning direction you have used in your master data

setting (whether backward or forward)

Check the time stream and planning calender used for generating

the orders

Dear Sirs,

Thank you so much for your kind advice and I'm sorry for my insufficient explanation about my question. Detaila example is as follwos.

Transaction: /SAPAPO/CDPS_REPT - Order and Resource Reporting

(1)For example, today is September 10th. We select "Resource Load" on 1st screen and select "Month" for period selection as parameter. And time profile is -10 to 150 Days.

(2)We can see the result as follows,

But actually, inside of September data, past date is considered as free capacity, so monthly data is not correct.

2010.9.2 2010.9.3 24.000 24.000 0.000

2010.9.3 2010.9.4 24.000 24.000 0.000

In APO, we can see only future data and we should change time profile as only future date? And there is no function to see actual result of resouece load for past date?

Dear,

I understood your requirement.

System gives the capacity as free only when Planner order was not created on that resource for that month. May be in your process you must be deleting the planned order and execution is done in R/3, hence system says it is free..
