Could any one tell me how to create permits in the system. I am working with standard permits and not WCM.

HI Boby,

For creating permits first we need to choose, what are the permits to be created in the system.

for ex:

Fire permit

Height permit

vessel entry permit etc.,

Creating the above permits You can use the transaction code "IPMD".

or

Logistics u2192 Plant maintenance u2192 Management of technical objects / Maintenance

processing u2192 Environment u2192 Permits

Each permit you need to assign category and Order release.

Once you created the permits, can assign the same to technical objects or orders.

For Technical Objects:

Logistics u2192 Plant maintenance u2192 Management of technical objects u2192 Functional

location / Equipment u2192 Change..................Choose Goto u2192 Permits

For Orders:

Logistics u2192 Plant maintenance u2192 Maintenance processing u2192 Order u2192 Change................Choose Goto u2192 Permits.

The same can be released while releasing the order.
