Functional Currency is not same Company Code currency - Implication

We are implementing Green field S/4 with our client. The company has 7 subsidiaries , one of the subsidiary is in Argentina.The question we have is about Argentina since we dont want to use localization , we wanted to use US company code with functional currency set to the Argentine Peso? What would be some of the things to consider with this option (implications).

Sorry for the late response and appreciate Ajay and Gustavo your responses. Actually We are planning to implement S/4HANA Cloud which does not has Argentina as localization that's why we need to alternate option. Further discussion is underway with SAP as well.

Hi Farroq,

You have to do some local reporting Company Code. How do you plan to do it ?

Take Ajay's advice, copy CoCode from template.

But why? What’s the harm in having company code with Argentine peso as the currency?

Sap Might have given company code for Argentina to copy, you can copy from it
