Personnel Area Addresses in T500P

In T500P, the personnel areas and also the addresses are contained there. In regards to the address field, STRAS, the character length is 30. Does SAP allow for you to increase the size of this field or is the size something that cannot be changed?

If it can't be changed what do you do at your company when the address is much longer?

I dont think this length can be increased beyond 30 characters - but please check to see if you can find an OSS note for this.

Can you try to use other fields to capture part of the STRAS information, like NAME2 field?

Can't you use the ADDR1_DATA structure fields, you get this when you click on the small Address icon in view T500P. The Street field in that table is 60 char length. Will that not help with your requirement?

What is the difference between the addres stored in T500P and the one stored in ADDR1_DATA? What is each one used for?
