Territory assignment for accounts

Dear experts,

As per our business scenario we would like to have both auto assignment of territories to account based on determination rule as well as the manual assignment via excel upload. But so far I checked, if I do a reallignment run then the system removes the manually assigned accounts and added only the accounts based on determination rule.

Can we override this and use both the features together? Please advise.

Hi Vignesh,

What do you mean when you want to use the two features Together? Is it that you want a possibility that an Account has to be assigned to a Territory manually and at the same time it should be possible to assign it to another territory to the same account using the realignment?

In general when executing the realignment, you can define exceptions . The Define Exceptions step is only available if multiple territories per account is disabled.
