NWDS - deploy problem

Hello,

I'm new to NWDS, but... i just register SAP AS Java.

When i try to deploy new archive and Run i get popup with correct adress but the port number is -1 after :

How NWDS get this port number?

Where i can change and what i'm doing wrong when i register new server?

Hi,

Follow these steps:

1. stop the server and shutdown the server machine.

2. restart the server system and again start the server.

After doing this, deploy ur application.

Hello Olek

Default port number is 3901 .Instance number is based on follwoing calculation 50000(Instance of server100)

i.e if if instance number is 1 then 50100.so put the right instance and try it out.(in most cases it is 0 if there is only one instance)

Check it the instance with NWA administration -->System.

Other reason could be if u access the server remotly then do server entry inside host file : C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

<ip address name of the system>

I've cheked it and i can try to run this from the changed url but get error: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.sal.core.DispatcherException: The requested deployable object.

So it looks like NWDS didn't deploy this on the server Or i'm wrong.

you are right, ur component is not deployed. i faced this issue many times but restarting the server machine and server instance helped me to solve this problem.

Hi ,

Go to http://<host:port>/index.html check in System information to get the message port details.

You will get to know more precisely about port details and cross check with data you provided.

It helps little bit.

now it opens browser at least but still deploymend is not made.

i get error:

"Error during deployment:

com/sap/ide/dii05/util/api/diilog/Severity"

can u post the complete Stack trace?

is ur component is getting deployed ?

can u check for other components, whether it is getting deployed .
