Error: INSERT background sched. table (job RDDFDBCK)

Hello,

I have a problem with transprot request. It is running for very long time.

I have checked the job RDDIMPDP. It is getting cancelled because of the job RDDFDBCK is not running.

when i was trying to release the job i have encountered an error which says "Error saving the job RDDFDBCK to database"

I have found the below error in SM21.

Error: INSERT background sched. table (job RDDFDBCK)

Within background processing, it was found that inserting release

information of the specified job into the central control table of

the background processing scheduler (TBTCS) failed.

Error possibilities:

There is already an entry for the specified job in the table

TBTCS.

Database error.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

you check for the reason why job RDDFDBCK failed and resolve the issue.You can post the joblog here.

Is is not recommended to do the job relese manually.it will be taken care by RDDIMPDP

RDDIMPDP job error log below...

Job started

Step 001 started (program RDDIMPDP, variant , user name DDIC)

Program RDDIMPDP is running in client 000

Background job could not be scheduled (see system log)

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

SM21 :

Error: INSERT background sched. table (job RDDMNTAB )

SLOG log error below...

ERROR: System KIQ. Warning. 20090825091843 :

ERROR: Background job RDDIMPDP could not be started or terminated abnormally.

ERROR: Please check that the R/3 system is running.

ERROR: Please check the system. Use transactions SM21, SM37, SM50.

ERROR: (This warning is harmless if no further warnings follow.)
