Hi Guys,

I created an income statement report. We wanted a couple of rows for statistical key figure but in 6.0 the field isnt avaialble in the table Flaglflext, so i decided to use secondary cost element rather than stat key figure.

Now i need to post directly to the secondary cost element. I tried KB11n,KB61n,KB41n etc but it doesnt work. What should be cost elemetn category? and how do i post directly to a secondary cost element

Your help is appreciated

Hi Ziad,

We cannot directly post to Secondary Cost Element. The basic nature of Secondary Cost Element, whatever category may be, is it acts like a transmittor of cost when the cost has to flow inbetween Cost Objects.

Pls elaborate your requriement, what values you are looking to bring into your report...

I have come across a problem that seems to be related.  I use an assessment (KSU5) to move costs from one cost center to another within a cost element.  The assessment didn't post for August or September, now I need to make a YTD true up.  How do I do this?

Thanks guys, we wanted to use stat key figures for recording case sales. Since i am unable to do that or post to a secondary cost element, i am going to post to create a primary cost element outside our general range and post to it

What were you going to be using your Statistical Key Figures for? Perhaps there is something else available that will fufill your requirements.

Hi Ziad,

I would like to point out one thing that, we can not post anything to any secondary cost element. But we can only post to any cost object throught (not to) secondary cost element.

From a conceptual view point if you look at it. Secondary Cost elements are used for internal cost allocations or postings between cost objects in Controlling Area.

For Example T.Codes

KB11n is meant for allocation from one cost object to another

I hope you got the point i am driving at

Best Regards
