Hi All,
I am facing currency conversion issue with S_ALR_87013558 report . I have Controlling area currency as USD & Object currency is in INR , So I am selected OBJECT CURRENCY as Budget currency in OPS9 – Budget profile(IMAGE NO.1)
After assigning budget in CJ30 in INR , the conversion from INR to USD is showing correct .(IMAGE 2 )
As controlling area currency is in USD so default report is showing in USD currency (image 3)

now if we changed Currency in report from USD to INR (image 4 & 5)
4-s-alr-87013558-report-2-4.jpg
5-s-alr-87013558-report-3-4.jpg
After currency conversion report showing wrong Value (image 6)

Exchange rate maintained in OB08 (image 7)
Thanks
Virendra.
The possible issue in currency conversion might be because of alternate currency maintianed..
Currency conversion from A to B will be getting used as follow -
1. Tcode OBBS
2. Tcode OB08
Here, OBBS tcode will use to maintain the exchange rate ratio and Alternative exchange rate type. The Alternative exchange rate types are used to process currency translations for certain currency pair combinations from a given date using a different exchange rate type. Kindly refer the thread for more details https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/1366048.
Moreover, OB08 used to get the exchange rate for the maintained ratios in OBBS transaction. In our scenario, if you go to the OBBS transaction and check the combination.
You will notice that Alt. ERT if maintained and in OB08 transaction, when you check the combination whatever rate maintained based on Vaild from date will be picked and use for currency conversion by the system.

Hi All,
Can any have idea on how to see the report without using currency conversion but on Transaction currency . Because if using currency conversion factor this report showing wrong figures in report . e.g. I have a controlling area currency USD & Transaction currency is INR .
If I assigned budget in INR then system always shows S_ALR_870..... reports shows by default in Controlling area currency if we try to convert currency in report from USD to INR system tries to convert it with USD conversion rate which is showing wrong values as compared to my assigned budget in CJ30.
So any one having Idea how to see the report without currency conversion
TIA
Virendra.

Report S_ALR_87013558 is working in correct way. as 66.50 is conversion rate maintained in OBO8 Transaction by May 2018 which system should always pick last updated rate only.
You have assigned budget 50$ which can calculate 50*66.50 = 3325 which report already shown.
what is the issue then?

Hi Sanjeev,
Sorry for delay in reply .
Yes you are correct system is calculating in correct way as per currency exchange rate , but my concern is I have assigned 1000 INR budget in Object currency. Now system is calculating 3325 INR in report as per currency exchange rate in S_ARL_87013558 report . How to tackle this because user is saying I have assigned 1000 INR budget in CJ30 and in report its showing 3325 INR after currency changed from Controlling area to Object currency.
Thanks,
Virendra
