Hello Gurus,

I have a situation here , there are four condition types in my pricing procedure . I want to set atleast one condition type to be mandatory . That is , atleast one condition type should have value, else the sales order should be incomplete.

Please help in this regard.

thanks

Tom

Hi,

In Tcode-V/08, Check the Middle Check Box(MANDATORY) ,in front of Condition type you want to make mandatory.

Order will not be complete untill & unless the requirements of this mandatory Condition type is met.

Hi Vikas ,

thanks fo the quick response . The answer you gave is for a single condition type . I have 4 condition types and I do not want all the 4 condition types to be mandatory. I want at least one condition type to be present.

My Dear Friend,

I have already suggested you to mark only the condition type as mandatory which you want it to be mandatory.

Have another condition type which is the sum of the prior 4 that you mentioned. Then make that one mandatory. This should get you what you are looking for once you play around with the config for it a bit

this is also a good solution

Thanks Bill,

Your solution is good . But if the condition types are not available , then it will return zero and satisfies the mandatory funtionality

Hi,

What you can do is set no condition type mandatory but i suppose that after the 4 prices condition type, you have a line with the gross then you can program a routine in the Condition formula for alternative calculation type that will check that the gross price is not 0 or if you subtotal the prices condition types in a field to check that this subtotal is not equal to 0 and in this case, you issue an error message.

I think creating a new routine with your need and apply it on the gross price line could be a solution.

Hope it helps.

Thanks Maryian,

Do you know any standard routine is available for validation if the gross price is zero or not.

Hi,

Sorry, i don't know any standard routine that does that but it should be very simple for your programmer to create one.

Hi,

Kindly go to V/08 and mark the required condition type as mandatory, that's it.
