Email synchronisation iOS device with Server Side Integartion

Hi,

We want to synch an email on the standard email application of iOS to C4C.

To do this we have to move it to the "SAP Hybris E-Mails" folder.

When the email is synchronised in C4C, we are unable to link it to a customer or contact person.

We only have the option: related items --> Follow-up items --> appointment, task, phone call, lead, opportunity and visit.

But we are unable to link our email to a customer or contact.

Please, can anyone advise us how to do this?

When you move the mail to the "SAP Hybris E-mails" folder and it is synchronized with C4C, the contact is automatically attached based on the email address of the sender of the email. You don't need to do it manually.

Thank you for your response. When I sync an email via the SAP Hybris E-Mails folder, the email is not automatically attached based on the email address of the sender of the email.

When I navigate to my contact (Customers --> Contact), I can't find the email in the Activities tab. Do you know the reason?

Also, isn't it possible to link the email to a customer by choice?

The contact is determined if there is an email address match and if Party Processing is enabled in C4C.
The email that is recorded should show this information.

You can choose to link the email to a different customer by choice if you use the add-in (side-bar). Server side integration is supposed to be a 'background integration' which does the relevant processing on its own and does not show additional interfaces to the user (their workflow should remain as minimal as possible).
