IDOC CC

Hi ALL,

I am configuring a interface SAP(X)---PI----SAP(X)

From SAP system i am pushing IDOC to PI then it is comming to same SAP(XI) system.

My doubt is i copnfigured IDOC CC for one interface .

but there abt 5 diff (like orders.orders05,ordchg.orders05)IDOC are working with same interface.

In CC it asking for only Port and RFC destination where thses two parameters are same for all the interfaces.

more over there is no mapping included in this.

my questions are:

1 .Do we have to create diff CC for each interface but where as we doing same configuaration for each CC.

2.Same CC can work for all interfaces....

No need to create the Different CC for different IDOCs, bascially IDOC comuunicated using the TRFC port so in this IDOC adapter u are mentioning the trfc ports only....

2.Same CC can work for all interfaces....

Yes it works for all......as IDOC is coming out of r/3 using trfc port

One more thing R3(A)---XI--R3(B)

what are the necessary configuarations we have to do in Both R3 systems and in XI box for IDOC communication.

I created

R3(A).

RFc destination( for XI)

port creation

partner profiles.

XI:

RFc destination( for R3(A))

port creation

Partner profiles

RFc destination( for R3(B))

port creation

partner profiles

R3(B):

RFc destination( for XI)

port creation

partrner profiles

is this ok or do i have to create do any configuaration extra...

Hi Rao,

U need to do the following:

R3(A/B)

1) RFC Destination (SM59)

2) Port Creation (We21)

3) Partner Profile Creation (WE20)

XI:

1) RFC Destination (SM59)

2) Port Creation (IDX1)

3) Load Meta Data for IDOC (IDX2)

But i have to create RFC destination for Bothe R3 systemns from XI in that case i have to create two RFC destinations right?..

if two RFC destinations are created then two ports and twp partner profiles have to create right?..

Hi Rao,

Yes, The specified steps has to be carried out for every SAP systems connected to XI in the landscape. So u have to create two RFC dest for both the SAP system's from XI.

Yes... Two ports has to be created...
