If you encounter a connection error via a cloud connector, one possible reason could be that subpaths have not been granted access permissions. Below is a common error message you might see:

To resolve this issue, consider the following steps in your configuration:

  1. Update Your Destination Configuration: Ensure that your destination configuration includes "dev_abap" and "ui5_execute_abap" as values in the WebIDEUsage additional property.

  2. Enable the Necessary Service: Verify that the service /sap/bc/adt/ is enabled in your backend system. This can typically be done via the transaction SICF.

  3. Adjust Access Control Settings: Navigate to the 'Cloud To On-Premise' menu and select the 'Access Control' tab. Here, make sure to grant access to the necessary subpaths. Configure your settings as shown in the screenshot below to ensure the problem is resolved.
