Dear friends,
I wants to maintain batch management for my process order. In material master in MRP 2 view , i have maintained "3" in batch enter field.
Then while creating my process order in COR1, in "material list" option, the "batch key" key indicator has been not set.
Could any one guide me , how to maintain Batch management in process order?
Thanks
Senthil
For maintaining Batch Management use the following path -
SPRO --> Logistics - General --> Batch Management --> Specify Batch Level and Activate Status Management
We have to specify the batch level, Plant level, Client Level, Material Level
Batch Status Management to be Active
Activate Plants you want with Batch status management
Batch Master
Batch Number Assignment
Activate the internal or external batch number assignment
Creation of New Batches
SPRO --> Logistics - General --> Batch Management --> Creation of New Batches --> Define Batch Creation for Production Order / Process Order
Maintain parameters for the above.

Hi Ameya,
My material is raw material. So i have not selected "Work scheduling" view.
But in MRP2 view i have maintained Batch entry field as 3 (Automatic batch determination upon release of order).
Is this setting is enough to activate Batch management?
What t.code and Movement type i have to use to issue the raw material against process order?
Thanks
Senthil
An original batch is uniquely identified by the batch number, the material, and the plant.
The data from the original batch is stored in a standard batch master record. A batch only becomes an original batch when you assign it to a purchase order or a production order.
You can use an original batch to store the original attributes (characteristics) of a production lot or procurement lot, by creating the batch directly for a production order item or a purchase order item.
