hi,
I am working in IDES SAP CRM standalone 5.0 version. I maintained enterprise structure without errors. In my enterprise structure I had multiple sales areas.but when I initiated to create business partner in 'sold to party' role in sales area view,'choose sales area' tab is not activating.so I can not maintain sales area to business partner.
so, can you tell me how to activate 'choose sales area'tab in business partner.

Hi Jyothi,
I have same issue in few days back and successfully resolved by adding complete BP authorizations to user.Ask your BASIS to add all BP authorizations to user id.

Please crosscheck the following
1.Whether you have maintained the attributes in your Org.structure.
2.Have maintained combination of Divisions n Dist.channel.
If even after this you are not able to see the sales area execute the following function module <b>BAPI_BUPA_FRG0030_GETDETAIL</b>
or the report
<b>BAPI_BUPA_FRG0030_GETDETAIL</b> or <b>CRM_ORG_INDEX_CREATE</b>
Even if you do not find the sales area tab in BP transaction then check the view V_TBZJ1 in transaction SM30 and see whether the line
Subheader Screen text Description Appl. Scrn.seq.cat.
CRM001 Sales area data CRM CRM1 CRM001
exist or not if not then pls maintain it.
Also check the view V_TBZJ1C for the lines below
Subheader Description Item number Active
CRM001 CRM:Sales area data 2 X
If this also not exist then maintain it.
After this you will be able to see sales area tab when you will create the BP in role SP.

I have excatly the same problem the button "choose sales area" is not active when i'm on the sold-to BP view
I have created correctly the organisationnel model.
I have checked all the customizing point and tables you gived ..everything is correct but the button is still not active !
Do you have any idea?

What do you mena my the Sales area Tab not activated. Normally the TAb stays so. If you are not able to see your Sales org in the Sales Area then do the following,
You have to assign organisation profile to the sales transaction. Check in the IMG org. Management.
Next, You have to update the organ. model so that it is available in the SAles area. normally it takes 24 hours to get updated. You can update it in the IMG under Master Data-> Org. Management.
Check the Best practices and see if you have gone thrugh it .
