Sybase 16 SP04 Upgrade from Sybase 15.7

We are planning to update to Sybase 16 SP04 from sybase 15.7.

Can 15,7 drivers work with Sybase 16?

You may want to consider a tag that matches the product you are asking about otherwise you may not get attention of community members who can assist.

I assume you mean you are upgrading ASE (note that a number of products match the version you reference) version 15.7 to 16? If so, see Interoperability | SAP Help Portal. That reference is for Windows but there are equivalent docs for each of ASE's supported platforms and the requirements are likely the same for the driver versions supported.

Based on past experience, when you upgrade the ASE server to a new version, we'd better upgrade the client driver version to be a matched version.
