SAP Road Map Explorer - session issue

Dear Experts,

does anyone else have the problem that the SAP Road Map Explorer session expires continuously?

https://roadmaps.sap.com/board

When I log in the pop up appears and as soon as I click "Refresh" the page is reloaded and the pop up appears again.

So far it seems OK for me. I recommend logging in at the base url, roadmaps.sap.com and then selecting products, times, etc.

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the same behavior.

Still after clearing the cache and also in incognito mode and independently of the browser I'm using (tried chrome and edge).

I'm using Chrome as well, with SAP Passport. Strange.

Hi Tammy,

it's "solved", the issue is caused by our VPN. When accessing the page without VPN it works as expected.

Hi Tobias,

the pre-requisites for a time-out are as follows:

  • After 60 minutes of inactivity – the session expirers and the user is requested to reload the page
  • As soon as the user has a cut on the internet connection, and is re-connected (e.g. change from wireless to cable)
  • When the user had an Ad-Blocker in the browser, and certain URLs get blocked.
