Moderators Question - about Partner Edge Product Links and Product Placement

Hi SCN Moderators Community,

please would you help me, I am very interested in the SAP Customer's Business value side and SAP Customer's Technical implementation side of Enterprise Blockchain.

Two months ago I began what is planned to be a long journey of bringing SAP and Enterprise Blockchain deep dive blogs to the SCN Community with the goal of stimulating interest and engagement and discussion on this very useful and interesting technology.

There is so much to the technology and it is so misunderstood I have an ambition to make all of it easy to understand so that my fellow SAP Experts can have a head start on understanding the technology, the business value and most important how to do it in their SAP installations. This was the first blog, https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blogs-by-members/why-i-love-sap-and-blockchain-databases-and... the current one, the ninth one in the journey is awaiting Moderation Approval due to doubts in links in the content, and the 10th blog is in preparation for publishing.

Before I started blogging, I put the following question in the SCN PartnerEdge Community:

https://community.sap.com/t5/sap-business-technology-platform-discussions/sap-partneredge-open-ecosy...

Nobody ever responded to my question.

And now, as I continue this long journey of elaborating on the technology and use cases I seem to be running in to breaching the rules of Moderation of SCN with links in my blogs.

Obviously, I would like to post comfortably and within the rules and without friction, and hence the question, would somebody please respond to my question in the SCN Partner Edge Community and help to make it clear and transparent for Partner Edge Partners as to what is allowed and what is not. Would you please help that this question gets answered:  https://community.sap.com/t5/sap-business-technology-platform-discussions/sap-partneredge-open-ecosy...

Thanks very much for a wonderful community and looking forward to help and guidance and also, clearing the obstacles to get the latest blog which is in Moderation Approval published.

All the best, your old Moderator friend,

Andy Silvey.

Hi @AndySilvey - generally there are two things to keep in mind when publishing content in the SAP Community.

1. The SAP Community is an educational platform primarily for a technical audience, not one used for marketing. If published content is seen as too promotional, our community members react negatively and often report it.

2. Article 4, Unacceptable Content, in our Rules of Engagement (https://pages.community.sap.com/resources/rules-of-engagement) state that: "Content or comments primarily designed to drive traffic to, increase the search rankings of, generate revenue from, or gain any other personal benefit from a non-SAP site, product, or service."
Which means we don't allow links to external (company) websites if these are promotional. This applies to all community members, whether they work for a partner or for a customer.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Anne
