Hello Markus,

All the business related Work Centers (like Sales, Activities, etc) will be visible on HTML view of C4C, while almost all configuration Work Centers related to Admin Role (like Application User Management, Business Configuration, Administrator, etc) will be visible only on Silverlight Mode.

For more details for Business Role creation and assigning recommended Work Centers to them, I will suggest you to refer Help Center.

Hope this helps.

Hi Patricia,

Go to the business user under Application and user mgmt. work center and assign the appropriate work centers and associated views that you want to see for the end user.

Just log off and log on again in HTML5 client you will be able to see the relevant workcenters only.

Please let me know if you are still facing any more issues.

Hi Subhasish, thank for getting back to me.

The problem is that when I enter my tenant it goes straight to silverlight mode and I don't have the Application and user mgmt in my work center, it is missing several tabs actually.

Do you have any idea on what should I do to correct this?

Thanks again and have lovely wknd!

Hi Patricia,

For changing to default HTML5 mode, you need to do the following:

  • Go to Adapt ---> Company settings (on the top corner of your screen)
  • Click on Client tab
  • Against preferred client dropdown, select HTML.
  • By setting this, you will always have HTML5 launched as default.

Now, your second issue to get Application and user management, do the following:

  • In your silverlight, login with Admin user and navigate to Administrator WoC.
  • Go to Business Role for the Admin user and include Application and User management Work center and other required workcenters and save the role. You will see all required work centers.

Hi Pavithran,

Thank you so much! Do I have to use any user to do it? I have tried with ADMINISTRATION01 AND SERVICEAGENT01 but didn't work, it keeps on Silverlight mode for all users.

About my second issue I checked and the Application and User management work center were there and saved. I repeat the operation as you said just to make sure but they are missing yet.

I must be doing something wrong... I am working under ADMINISTRATION01,Eddie Smoke.

Thanks once again Pavithran. If you have any idea let me know, please.

Hello Patricia,

Follow suggestions by Pavithran, you must have missed something while following it.

When you login using Administration01, change the company setting (Adapt -> Company Setting), to show HTML as preferred Client:

This will always open tenant in HTML mode, while you can always enter Silverlight Mode through Adapt --> Enter Silverlight Mode. You can also bookmark this URL to directly access Silverlight mode.

Also you should be doing something wrong while assigning the Work Centers. If they are assigned to the Business Role, Users assigned to this Business Role should be able to see the Work Center!

Hi Chadan,

Thanks for your reply.

I got it right now, I followed as you said and plus I had to go to adapt-> company settings->theme and changed it to Golden reflection it was set as Skyline. Now it is in HTML mode.

About the Work Centers I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I did what Pavithran said and

I went to Business Role for the Admin user and include Application and User management Work center and other required workcenters and save the role but I don't  see all required work centers yet, they carry on the same...

Thanks guys, if you have any other idea please let me know.

Take care!

Patricia
