Incomplete list of personnel in PA20 search help

Former Member

Hi Gurus,

Good day.

Need your help on one of the issue we are encountering.

We are searching for an employee in PA20 using =n.lastname

However, the list did not show the specific employee we are looking for.

Although the employee has complete record in SAP the search help list did not output him.

When we enter his personnel number it is showing his records.

Thanks

Regards,

Cris

339367 - Access of personnel number with default position

1902797 - Authorization issues in case of administrator change - period of responsibility.

Hi,

Have you checked the "Maximum No. of Hits" field in the searh help. May be there must be a value here and that is why the list displayed is restricted.

Thanks!

It could be the employees current work location record is delimited to a date other than 9999.12.31.  We had a similar issue, and once the record was set correctly voila he showed up in search.

Hi All,

Apparently this is not a auth issue. We were able to view other employee under the same Organization. Thanks for your input.

Hello

the object checked by PA20  is P_ORGIN

P_ORGIN (HR: Master Data) (SAP Library - Authorizations for Human Resources)

Authorization Field

Long Text

INFTY

Infotype

SUBTY

Subtype

AUTHC

Authorization Level

PERSA

Personnel Area

PERSG

Employee Group

PERSK

Employee Subgroup

VDSK1

Organizational Key

in the  Authorization Field  AUTHC , you should check the value M that means match code.

Research is authorized if you value M.

Hello

The user logged in should have authorization to display IT0002 in order to search using =n.lastname

Thanks,
