Prod Order Variance Calculation_Error CK466_No price for activity could determined

Dears

We are running variance calculation for a production order and system is giving error message CK 466 (No price could be determined for activity type..).

We have certain activities for which no price is applicable. Hence I have changed the message CK 466 in the using OPR4_CK to warning. But I dont understand why still the message is coming as "Error" instead of "Warning".

Please help me.

Hi Nikki

First of all, OPR4_CK applies to CK11N. For variances, you must set the message in OPR4_KKS and OPR4_KKS1

Second., if act type is not relevant for pricing, you must set it as not relevant for costing in Work Center in my opinion or Maintain a nominal price 1 $ per 10000 units. Thats the best way out

We have released the activity price for all the periods in the fiscal year already.

As I mentioned already, I have changed the message CK 466 in the using OPR4_CK to warning.

But do not understand why it is coming as 'error' while running variance calculation !!!

Hi Nikki,

Which period you are trying to calculate variance this period you have not mentioned activity rate t.code KP26.
