Kepware OPC Connectivity with PCo 2.3

Hi All,

I am not able to create an OPC UA source system. OPC UA Agent option is not displayed in the Add Source System dialog box in PCO.

Note: OPC server and PCO 2.3 both are on same system.

Only OPC UA SDK 1.00 redistributable (build 250 or higher) is required or any other version is compatible for enable OPC UA Agent in source system ?

I have tried to download sdk from OPC foundation but it is available for corporate members only.

Please suggest me the link for downloading SDK for non-corporate members.

Hi Nitin,

Did you installed the OPC UA agent while installing PCo.? May be possible that you missed it while installing so not available while configuring in source set up..

Hi Nikhil,

I have select OPC UA agent while installing PCo 2.3. But missing two dll files OPC.UA.Client.dll and OPC.UA.Core.dll in the PCo system directory.

Only OPC UA SDK 1.00 redistributable (build 250 or higher) is required.

Hi Nitin,

I suggest requesting Kepware Tech support for the re-distributable, they are good at customer service.

Please raise a request to them through their portal itself.

Hi All,

I have resolved the connectivity Isssues with PCo 2.3.

Solution: Need to install OPC UA Local Discovery Server 1.00 which is available on OPC foundation site.

Note: OPC UA SDK 1.00 redistributable (build 250 or higher) is not required for connecting KepwareEX with PCo 2.2 & 2.3.
