Excel attachment to a report painter report

Hello All,

I have created a report using report painter. Now I want to generate and send this report as excel attachment to external parties. I am able to send the mail but attachment is not there. I have selected mail and excel in output parameters.

Manual I am able to generate the report and display it as excel on the screen, but cannot send it as attachment.

Also in SOST when I check outgoing mail, it is asking me to go to document and execute to display extract.

Please help in resolving this.

Have you selected the check box for excel mode and display navigation bar and office integration is it inactive for Microsoft excel ?

if you have selected excel mode under office integration and it isn't coming up then it could be a security in excel, in excel go to tools -> options ->macro security and then change that to low or simply press Shift + F2.
