WIReportServer.exe consuming all memory + ERR_WIS_30270

Hi,

We have a SAP BO instance, 4.3 sp1. For the last 4 weeks the 3 BO servers in our cluster have started to consume all of the memory on the servers. This happens about once a day, sometimes they stay stable around 85% for a longer period. Short spikes has historically happened but now it's causing the BO instance to become unstable.

We also have a problem with running schedules, suddenly all schedules fail and refer to: "Internal Error Occurred While Calling 'openDocument' API: ERR_WIS_30270"

Sometimes different version of the 30270 error, like getpagesAPI

SAP support has been unhelpful, their recommendations have been:

Increase : Maximum Documents Before Recycling, Timeout Before Recycling (seconds), increase APS XmX value, increase XmX of AJS, Clearing tomcat cache. I have done this without any results. I have turned off logging for WEBI servers to see if that helps but nothing.

Restarting SIA helps and suddenly the scheduled exports work for a couple of days, but now the WEBI servers are consuming the memory daily causing more issues.

I have also increased the storage so there is atleast 40% free storage. Memory is already maxed so that cannot be increased more. I know there are some similar posts already but none of the solutions I have seen have worked.

Please help with some suggestions on what to try.

Would it be an option to clear the document cache folder for webi processing server? How would one do that and what is the consequence?

We are just now starting to see this, had been pretty stable before upgrading to 4.3 SP3 (p100) - any updates, any help / suggestions from support yet?

I think we have some larger jobs that might be related to this, but the problems with stability are newer than those reports, certainly never saw 12-15G wireportserver processes - it's taking down Tomcat, killing our app.

WIReportServer is taking up lots of memory

Cannot figure out the right balance. We added more memory, added more WebiprocessingServer, still BO is unstable.
