SSO from Portal to BEX Analyzer don't work in some computers

Hi,

We are trying to call the BEX Analyzer from SAP Portal using an Iview that calls our BI system and then transaction RRMX. For some computers the SSO works to the last step, so after opening the iview we have the BEX analyzer connected to the BI system.

But for other computers the iview only works to open the BEX Analyzer but not connecting to the BI system.

We have tried with the different users in the same computers and we are sure that the problem is some settings in the PC. We checked all the IE Security and Advance settings, the Java version, Windows, GUI, BEX versions and patch levels and we can't find can be difference.

Any ideas, suggestions?

We are working on this issue, too.

Perhaps you check this out:

We've figured out that if the BW 3.5 Addon is installed the connection is established properly.

We are searching for a solution, while we don't want to install BW 3.5 Addon anymore.

We are using SAP GUI 7.10 Patchlevel 8 and Business Explorer 7.10 on Level 5.

Hello,

We have a similar issue with RRMX. We are trying to lauch workbooks via SAP GUI. Everything works fine when BW 3.5 Add-on is installed. If the add-on is not installed then the reports do not lauch and we get a error message "Install Exel Viewer".

We are corresponding with SAP but so fat their support says thet the 3.5 add-on is not neccessary.

Did SAP ever get back to you on the need to install BW 3.5 Add-On?

fine to see that everybody can locate and solve this issue in the same way. We are still waiting for a response by SAP.
