Hello Experts,
I have a query here I want to setup a DR where I have 2 DR site NEAR DR and FAR DR.NEAR DR is not HA site. Can I setup DR here with one PR which will have 2 secondary DR one is Near DR and another one is Far DR. If it is possible how can I setup this.
I have seen multi tier DR setup in which Site A is PR site B is secondary to site A and site C which is secondary to site B and site B will be primary to site C. In this scenario if site B goes down (due to hardware failure) then my DR setup is broken and i am at risk with only PR running as site C is of no use as my site B is down and data sync between site B and site C is not there.
For this reason I want to know can I setup DR with 1 Primary and 2 secondary connected to single primary?
Regards
Akif
Hi Akif,

Yes, this is called multi-target replication.
Multi-tier replication is illustrated: concerns a chain of HANA System Replication (HSR) sites.
Multi-target means replication to multiple sites simultanously, e.g. Site A (Tier 1) to Site B1 and B2 (Tier 2); or Site A1 (Tier 1) to Site A2 (Tier 1) and B (Tier 2).
As documented
