Extract data from SAP PO ( process orchestration) into SAP BW on HANA

Dear experts

We like to extract data from SAP PO System into our SAP BW System (on HANA).

Our idea is to use a ABAP proxy (Tr SPROXY) in our SAP BW System and call a Webservice in SAP PO and fill then the inbound table of a DSO (advanced) in our SAP BW using API Interface RSDSO_DU_WRITE_API.

Has someone had the same requirement?

How did you extract the data from SAP PO?

Did you manage to schedule the Proxy in process chain?

Did you have an alternative solution (better?) to transfer the data into the SAP BW data warehouse.

Hi Christian,

The UDO tool has a feature to export all PO Directory Objects to XML or CSV files. You can run the tool via command line e.g. every night and then import the XML file to BW.
