Hi Experts ,
I am stuck with the terminology "Satellite System". and what is the use/ benefit if i can add to solution manager??? Can you please suggest me.
Hi Raju,
Solution Manager is not useful unless it is really connected to managed systems which are also called satellite systems. Managed systems include ERP, BOBJ, CRM etc.
When you connect those systems to Solution Manager, you can now monitor their performance, create reports such as EarlyWatch Alerts and even implement central change management (Charm).
So in essence, satellite systems (ERPs, CRM, PI, BOBJ etc) are truly the ones that benefit from using Solution Manager.

Yogesh,
I would suggest you read my paragraph again. I answered the benefit of using Solution Manager because this was one of the original question that was not answered.
"what is the use/ benefit if i can add to solution manager???"
Secondly the term satellite system is also called a managed system in many solution manager documentation so I want to make that connection clear.
